Terms of Service

Effective May 22, 2026

1. The short version

Drilld is a training app. Use it to get better at pickleball. Don't abuse it. Your account belongs to you, not to us. We make no guarantee that you'll improve, win matches, or avoid injury — only you can do the actual practice. We can update or close the service, but we'll give you notice and a way to export your data.

2. Who's behind this

Drilld is operated by an independent developer based in Texas, United States. Contact: support@drilld.app.

3. What Drilld is

Drilld is a self-directed pickleball training tool. It gives you adaptive drill recommendations, concept lessons, progress tracking, and reminders, based on the level and goals you set.

What Drilld is NOT:

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Drilld (16+ in the EU/UK). By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

5. Your account

If you choose to sign in, your account is yours. You're responsible for keeping your password private — anyone who has it can sign in as you. If you forget it, use the "Forgot password" link to set a new one.

We may suspend or close an account if there's clear evidence of:

We won't close your account for inactivity, leaving a bad review, or anything petty. If we do close one, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to export your data first.

6. Acceptable use

When using Drilld, you agree not to:

7. Content

Our content — drills, concept lessons, glossary, diagrams, copy, design — is copyright Drilld. You can use it inside the app for your own training. You cannot republish it, sell it, or use it to train AI models.

Your content — notes, journal entries, ratings, anything you type in — is yours. You own it. By signing in, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store and process it solely to provide the service to you. If you delete your account, we delete this content.

8. Drilld Pro and payments

Drilld Pro is a paid subscription tier (when launched). Pricing is shown in the app at sign-up and may change with prior notice. Refunds are handled through the app store you bought it through (Apple or Google), under their policies. We do not accept payment directly at this time.

We will never paywall the parts of the app that work without sign-in. The free tier is permanent.

9. No warranty

Drilld is provided "as is." We don't guarantee:

You use the app at your own risk and judgement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the developer of Drilld is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Drilld, including but not limited to: loss of progress data, injury during practice, missed match results, missed coaching opportunities, or any decision you made based on information in the app.

Our total liability for any claim related to Drilld is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits. In that case, the above apply only to the extent permitted by law.

11. Changes to the service

We may add, change, or remove features. For material changes, we'll notify you in the app. If a change makes the service materially worse for you AND you're a paying subscriber, you can cancel and request a pro-rated refund of the unused portion of your current billing period.

12. Termination

You can stop using Drilld at any time. To delete your local data, tap Reset all data in Profile. To close a signed-in account, write to support@drilld.app.

We can terminate your access if you breach these terms or for safety/legal reasons. If we do, we'll tell you why and let you export your data first.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under or related to these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to jurisdiction in those courts.

If you live in the EU or UK, this does not override your right to bring proceedings in your local courts under your local consumer-protection laws.

14. Changes to these terms

If we update these terms materially, we'll show you the new version in the app and ask you to accept it before continuing to use signed-in features. For minor changes (typos, clarifications), we'll update silently and bump the date at the top.
